bullet Darrell Provinse, MA, LPC, NCC

Darrell Provinse earned his degrees from Washington University and Webster University in St. Louis.  He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and a National Certified Counselor.  He is a member of the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, Association for Specialists in Group Work, and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.  He is also the Executive Director and CEO of Agape Christian Counseling Services.

As a therapist, Darrell is certified in Gestalt Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and extensively trained in family systems.  He works with individuals, couples, families, and groups of various ages.  His clinical interests include phobias, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, sexual dysfunction, grief and crisis, spiritual and existential issues and assisting parents of children with special needs.  Darrell has led groups in anger management, social skills, conflict resolution, boundaries, sexual addictions, women's issues, men's issues, and abuse recovery, as well as a parent support group.

bullet Mary O'Brien, MA, LPC, NCC

Mary O'Brien earned her degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University and is a National Board Certified Counselor. She is also the Associate Director of Agape Christian Counseling Services.

Mary has worked with a wide variety of clients providing counseling to individuals, couples and families. Specialty areas include single parenting, children and parents of children with attachment disorder as well as sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Mary is also trained in Gestalt Therapy and Redecision Therapy with individuals and couples.

Using a collaborative process directed toward working through a problem and enhancing a client's ability to achieve enjoyment and satisfaction in life, Mary believes that change often involves new ways of thinking, understanding and constructively dealing with emotions, taking new actions, learning new patterns of relating and developing a hopeful attitude.

bullet Mike Diller, MA, LPC, NCC

Mike Diller has earned his Master's from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. He is also a National Certified Counselor and Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor.

Mike seeks to help people resolve personal and relational problems through encouraging the individual to better meet both emotional and spiritual needs. Specialty areas include marriage counseling, depression, anxiety, conflict resolution, parenting, and spiritual issues. He has facilitated men's groups focusing on sexual addiction and anger management. Mike also has experience addressing women's issues, facilitating children's therapy, conducting family counseling, and facilitating cognitive therapy. Mike emphasizes the importance of instilling hope, identifying personal strengths and positive belief systems, increasing self-control over emotions and behaviors, and creating healthy relationships.

Rene' Parker earned her Master's Degree in Counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Rene's primary mode of psychotherapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She works primarily with individuals and couples and facilitates group counseling. The group counseling has included topics such as depression, boundaries, and women's issues.

She counsels extensively with clients that experience severe depression; anxiety disorders; codependency issues; sexual, physical, and emotional abuse; sexual addictions; grief counseling; single parenting; women's issues; and stress and anger management.

bullet Frances J. Thomas, MSW, ACSW, LCSW

Frances J. Thomas received her degrees from St. Louis University and EAP training through Washington University. She is licensed in Missouri, a member of the National Association of Social Workers, credentialed through the Academy of Certified Social Workers and is certified to provide ACSW and licensure supervision.

Frances provides individual and group counseling. Specialty areas include crisis management for grief/bereavement, life problems, trauma or neurosis related to health, job, personal or relationship stress, abuse, addictions and relapse. She also focuses on unique issues of minority and/or women through providing personal growth coaching, career and educational mentoring. Skilled in developing short term program series, she can work with church ministries or private groups concerning special needs, e.g. life-planning issues, spiritual stress management or grief resolution.

Her solution-focused counseling, based on the assumption that only God controls hope, empowers clients to believe that they can take charge of their lives even when reality seems impossible to endure. She blends reality therapy and cognitive behavior education so that clients grow strength from within, in-spite of pressures in their outside world.

bullet Jennifer Baker, MA, MDiv, PLPC

Jennifer Baker earned her MA in Counseling and Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary.  She is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri.

Prior to entering the counseling field, Jennifer worked in college ministry for six years, leading bible studies and mentoring college women.  She sees mainly adolescent and adult clients and is experienced in helping them with abuse issues, adjustment difficulties, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and family of origin issues.

Emily Loaiza Moore received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Hannibal LaGrange College. In May 2007, she completed a Masters of Education in Community Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Emily provides individual, couples, and family counseling. She also has experience in premarital counseling utilizing the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment. Emily has a passion for strengthening couples and families struggling with communication difficulties. It is her desire to facilitate growth and connection among the family unit.

bullet David Wilde, MA, PLPC

David Wilde earned an MA in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago.  He is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and a board eligible National Certified Counselor.  David is a professional member of the American Counseling Association.

David has an interest in treating the whole person, incorporating the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of each individual.  He says, "Counseling should not parcel out one aspect of an individual, but should rather be holistic in nature."  David has counseled individuals with depression, anxiety, family conflicts, and substance abuse issues.  Additional areas of interest include anger, stress management, and forgiveness.  He has also led a 12-step group for adolescents in recovery.

bullet Phyllis Davis, MA, CIT

Phyllis Davis received her Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. She has a passion for helping women who have been deeply wounded by abuse, abortion, sexual sin, or unwise choices. She also helps them deal with the shame, depression, and anxiety that accompanies these deep wounds. She recognizes the therapeutic value of telling your story in your journey of healing. She believes that, because of Christ's work on the cross, we can change from being suffering victims to being victorious over-comers.

Phyllis has led numerous support groups for grief and loss, depression and anxiety, and post-abortion healing. She enjoys working with individuals and helping them discover new ways of thinking and dealing with stress and emotions that will enhance their life and improve their relationships.

bullet Valerie Hubbard, MA, CIT

Valerie Hubbard earned her BA in Psychology and a Certificate in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2006, she completed her MA in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University. She is also the acting coordinator for the counseling ministry at her church.

Before completing her degree, Valerie spent nearly seven years working in social services. Her background includes work with adults and children with various mental and/or physical disabilities. She also served as an advocate for low income families in the school system.

Valerie has provided therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families dealing with issues related to communication, abuse, anxiety and depression. She has also began working with single individuals who are seeking counsel in the area of biblical courtship. She believes that the family unit is the very core of our society and she considers it a blessing to be called to serve in this way.
