Mary O'Brien, MA, LPC, NCC |
|
Mary O'Brien earned her degree in
Professional Counseling from Lindenwood
University and is a National Board Certified
Counselor. She is also the Associate Director of
Agape Christian Counseling Services.
Mary has worked with a wide variety of
clients providing counseling to individuals,
couples and families. Specialty areas include
single parenting, children and parents of
children with attachment disorder as well as
sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Mary is
also trained in Gestalt Therapy and Redecision
Therapy with individuals and couples.
Using a collaborative process directed toward
working through a problem and enhancing a
client's ability to achieve enjoyment and
satisfaction in life, Mary believes that
change often involves new ways of thinking,
understanding and constructively dealing
with emotions, taking new actions, learning
new patterns of relating and developing a
hopeful attitude.
