In Christianity, the term agape refers to the unconditional and voluntary love of God, God's love for humanity, and our call to love one another.

Rachel earned her undergraduate B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from University of Missouri-Columbia, and her M.A. in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary.  Rachel is currently a provisionally licensed professional counselor  at Agape and is pursuing full professional licensure with the state of Missouri.  Rachel has worked and volunteered for many years in people-helping positions, including professional childcare, personal care for elderly persons, and families in ministry.  She is also currently working with a ministry in the St. Louis area dedicated to helping individuals and couples deal with issues of sexual brokenness and sexual addiction.

Rachel counsels individuals of all ages and dating and married couples.  She has a special burden for people struggling with the repercussions of past sexual abuse, same sex attraction, and other forms of sexual brokenness, and has also worked with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, spiritual concerns, post abortion, identity struggles, and family of origin issues.  She considers it a rich privilege to walk alongside those who are hurting, dissatisfied with their current quality of life, and hoping for change and deep healing.
